Desiderio Presents "Set Yourself Apart" Session on National Green Building
Standard at 2011 RESNET Conference
March 1, 2011, Upper Marlboro, Md. - Today, Michelle Desiderio,
director of green building programs at the NAHB Research Center, will join a
distinguished line-up of industry experts in Orlando, Fla., to present a
session at this year's
RESNET Building Performance Conference, the premier national forum on
home energy ratings, residential energy efficiency financing, and building
performance business development.
Desiderio's session, "Set Yourself Apart: Get Green Certified to the
National Green Building Standard," will cover how to get a residential
green project certified to the Standard. The program will also provide details
on how HERS Raters can get involved by becoming NAHB Research Center
accredited green verifiers. Jamie Hagar, an accredited verifier with
Southern Energy Management, will join Michelle to help walk attendees
through the basic steps involved in having a new home, multifamily building,
remodeling/renovation project, and/or land development certified by the NAHB
Research Center.
