The National Housing Quality Awards (NHQA) is modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and represents the housing industry’s highest recognition for achievements in total quality management. The NAHB Research Center is proud to support the NHQA, now in its 18th year, along with Professional Builder magazine.

The program is more than just an award. Builders use the NHQA as a process as an objective vehicle for improving their businesses.

Entries are judged by panels of experts who evaluate the role of customer-focused quality in eight critical areas including, construction, business management, human resources and customer satisfaction. The NHQA are open to all U.S. residential construction companies, who enter in one of three divisions -- Home Builder Awards; Trade Contractor Awards; or Remodeler Awards.
