NAHB National Research Home Park
How innovative technologies, products, and systems perform in houses under
normal living conditions is an important part of the development and ultimate
acceptance of new housing innovations. To test new technologies, the NAHB
Research Center builds houses in the NAHB National Research Home Park, sells
them, and then monitors them for an extended period of time. The Home Park was
established in 1986 in Bowie, Md.
