MADE Homes
The Research Center, in collaboration with HUD's PATH (Partnership for Advancing
Technology in Housing) initiative constructed four Marketable, Affordable,
Durable, Entry-level (MADE) single-family detached homes in the NAHB National
Research Home Park. The four homes highlight technologies and builder practices
that deliver an affordable home appealing to a broad range of consumers.
Designs and products were chosen based on their ability to balance market
appeal and price, with durable features that will enhance the lifetime value of
the home.
