Through funding from the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) and other private sponsors, the NAHB Research Center administers and maintains technical resources known as “ToolBase Services.” The flagship offering of this program is ToolBase.org – a free, practical, technical, online resource for builders and remodelers. ToolBase.org provides information on:

• Innovative Technologies through the PATH Technology Inventory
• Field Results from real-world evaluations of advanced home building technologies
• Technology Tech Sets resources to help builders implement innovations in manageable, systems-based packages
• Hot Topics facing builders and remodelers every day
• Best Practices to streamline and improve the business of building
• Design & Construction Guides to illustrate new and innovative techniques

PATH also funded the NAHB Research Center to develop the "PATH to New Product Development" website – an online set of tools to help building product manufacturers and innovators develop and have market success for new products and services.
